The story picks up from Season 1 with Elvira struggling with the death of her beloved father. Again, she seeks relief in killing, but this time she is beaten to the act by a mysterious new murderer. A local cop suspects Elvira of the crime. Elvira, meanwhile, becomes determined to solve the murder herself.
Siobhán Cullen reprises her role as Elvira Clancy, an obituary writer on a small-town newspaper turned murderer. Extraordinary star Máiréad Tyers has joined the cast for Season 2 of the show, which is filmed in Ballyshannon.
